Just to be Clear Blade did actually manufacture a 7000 Combo receiver with Built in cable tune, is your 7000 the Combo model if not then the above applies

there is a better receiver than the Vu Solo4k and thats the Ultimo 4k, although dont expect the Ultimo 4K to get you any 4K sports or Movie channels either as most of these channels are more than likely some form of Hardware Pairing encryption system with there original receivers.

you could watch the Demo channels that are scattered around the satellite ARC and even some free 4K shopping channels on 19.2 east.

On occasion you do get some rare 4K sporting feeds that are encrypted but van be opened via softcam keys, but you really need to get used to using Oscam as all of the 4K receivers are ARM based units so can only run the Oscam emulator

The 'HDR' driver where implemented in early december so any image released after then will include as above the latest drivers, last drivers where dated 23/01/17

Broadcast Satellite will only support the HLG Standard for HDR so the OLED E6V not only has to have the HLG firmware update (Supposedly later this Year) but also the Vu Solo 4k also has to have HLG activated in the drivers.

There are currently 2 test channels broadcasting in HLG, Travel XP and the HLG Teststream LG on satellite.

I also own an E6V mate and i am in the same boat when we get the HLG update you will be able to use the inbuilt sat tuner on the E6 to display HLG (HDR) material even if VU dont update the Solo4K.

By the way the Solo 4K does do HDR the driver update was in December 2016 so there should be no problem in getting an update for HLG as well

    Fingers Crossed

It can be done the back bracket needs some slight work to make the Motor Stub fit but apart from that yes 100% will work, even motorising a Zone 1 45cm can be done

And what happens when your Internet goes down "No Channels" Motorised satellite still has a place until Broadband has at least 100% reliability which wont happen for a very long time.

Motorised dish with No Internet will still give you access to channels via softcam and Live Sports feeds via keys, Still a viable option in this day and age

If your 80cm is motorised then you should get good signal quality from all the major satellites obviously dependant on whether your dish is near 100% perfectly aligned or not, a 1m will get you all the fringe stuff from 4.8,26 east as well as 4,7,8 west and many others.

I have a cheap 80cm here prime focus on 19.2 east which also gets me 13,23 and 28 east multi LNB setup no problem

If you mean the 2 satellites from one dish then an 80cm would be preferable for 16° east, you would then have a 12° span from 16 east as your main focus point and 28.2 as the offset.

Personally a 60cm maybe pushing it for both but you could always try

You have to set the refresh rate to Auto on the Solo4K as 1 or 2 of the 4K channels broadcast @60hz all the others are 50hz the HLG teststream on 19.2 east is 60hz

Some of the newer 4K test channels from Dolby Labs broadcast in DVB-S2X which is not available on the Solo4k

I think for the forseeable future with having the FBC tuners which gives it (SkyQ) multi-tuner compatibility and so called HDR capable (Still waiting on Vu+ to Update the Drivers). The Solo4k is still the one to beat but for £200 the Mutant is not to be sniffed at

    what is it

Its an HDMI Matrix unit basically you place say all your A/V gear in a cupboard or loft or another room and then install the matrix alongside your equipment so say you have Sat receiver,Blu ray player,IPTV box you plug these into the matrix via HDMI and then you can pipe all 3 items to say 4 rooms in your home via cat6 cable and access any of the 3 items you want in any room via remote control

The Zone 2 Sky dish is not exactly an 80cm dish its more like 70cm width by 59cm height but as it is elliptical in shape this means it actually performs better than a standard Oval/Round dish in Multisat configurations, the problem is the LNB arm needs proper modification and sometimes lengthening to acquire more accurate signals.

I can assure you though just using it standard and un-modified i have had 13,19 and 28 east with acceptable signal levels with the main focus LNB being centered on 19.2 east .

Your problem appears to lie with the switch type being used

Does anyone on here do tests or do you know of any recommendations

Your asking the wrong type of questions on this forum which does not condone in any way any type of Payserver, The issue you describe has been well documented on many other forums and it all stems back to Payservers using Cache.

If i where you buy a card subscription and read how to use this in your receiver and then do as many others do and share for free with other members this way you wont have issues now or in the future.

    Good Luck
