All the new TM motors the 2300 and 2600 model are all M2 if it says so on the box this has nothing to do with any diameter measurements its just to let you know this is the new revised Motor.

If your using a Linux Enigma2 receiver and the Autobouquet maker then you will have 2 separate lists one for Satellite and one for Cable you can also add a prefix to each list so there is no confusion
ie: Sky (UK) & Virgin (UK)

The problem is when port forwarding externally your home network outside IP address is probably dynamic which means it will probably change in a few days or when you reboot your router, this is why when watching externally you need a DYN address such as a free one from No-ip which will track your Dynamic IP address for you
-
you need to use the Vu+ PVR option on Kodi on your external device and set it up accordingly with your external address and port options, this also applies to any smart phone options
-
Why not use the Transcoding Plugin from the plugin section you will need to open some ports on your router and possibly have a dyndns address for your IP but this will work
-
You need to re-align the dish and have focal point on 19.2° east and not 23.5° east, if your dish and LNB setup do not have a Focal LNB (LNB in centre at the end of the dish Arm) and its something like a Triax dish setup with there Multibracket which does not use a focal LNB point then move just off 19.2° east and move towards 13° east.
19,23,28 Astra Satellites are a lot stronger signal than Hotbird at 13° east
-
Tuner B has a higher signal by just 1% your looking at the wrong values SNR is the most important figure and not the AGC

I believe some form of expensive Hot Air Re-work soldering station and programming skills may be required and a certain type of receiver

OpenVix do not officially support the Zgemma range so all the OpenVix images are patched versions made to run on the Zgemma from another brand of receiver, If you do try to do an online software update on the Vix image then you run the risk of bricking your box.
Zgemma official images are OpenATV,Opendroid,Openspa,HDfreaks,Italysat using any of those images you will find no problem doing an OTA update on the image

Give it a chance gentleman this machine has barely been out just over 3 months you cant expect miracles overnight, Development is still ongoing as for being 4K compatible it most certainly is it has HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 and also HDR.
I had a similar situation when the Solo2 first came out over 3 years ago it took nearly 6-8 months to iron most of the major bugs out but look at the Solo2 at the time it was the fastest twin tuner PVR available and over a year later everyone raved about it and probably still do.
Give VU+ and the Image team devolopers time to get the little niggles ironed out and i am sure this will be as good as if not better than the Solo2 when it was first released.
Best Wishes

From reading around its Open again and is in test, that could be the usual pie in the sky rumour mill going but you never know

Someone should have explained that when you download the emulators from the OpenVix download feed they do not come with any pre configured files you have to add these yourself before the Cam will become operational, you can find config files for the most popular cams in this section here: http://linuxsat-support.com/forumdisplay.php?f=153, N works better in Mgcamd
Just to let you know buddy that so called Line Payservers are frowned upon on this forum so i do hope the line in question is from a friend/peer

Go into the main menu and the password section and see if the CAS section is switched to on or off
-
Yes thats correct, it would save you the hassle of having 2 items running continuously if you just had everything running from the Ubuntu server just a thought
-
Yes you just give the Ubuntu Server a line from the Zgemma 2S

There is no 10-Bit H.265 though which allows for a more wider colour gamut, A huge mistake from Wetek
