The AX HD61 can download and flash a team image online through its Multiboot recovery menu — no USB stick required.
Note: your AX HD61 must have a hard-wired network connection.
Flashing online
- Power on the AX HD61 and, as soon as you do, hold down the OK or STANDBY button on the remote. Release it once rCUY appears on the front display.
- Once you're in the Multiboot recovery menu, select Bootmenu at the bottom and press OK.
Select Flash online image and press OK.
Choose a team image to flash — currently OpenATV 6.3 & 6.4, OpenHDF 6.4 & 6.5, OpenNFR 6.3 & 6.4 and OpenViX 5.x. Press OK; a download progress screen appears.
Once downloaded, you'll see the four image slots. Choose the slot to flash to and press OK.
- When complete, select which image you'd like to boot into and press OK.
To boot a different slot later, use the receiver's built-in Multiboot system, or press Menu → Standby/Restart → Restart and, as soon as the screen goes blank, hold down the top-left power button until the Multiboot recovery menu appears, then choose your image.
That's it — very simple, and no USB sticks required.
⚠️ Choose your slot carefully. Flashing to a slot reflashes it — you'll lose everything you've set up in that slot. Note which slot you currently boot from before you choose.
