I found more information on the Internet, so I fixed my post.
SF 8008 contains a different chipset and CPU as the SF 4008 model.
My fault, sorry.

It means ARMv7 CPU (or as a so-called chipset because it's not a pure CPU, but it has more microprocessors, modules, chips, etc. in one case - e.g. for USB 3.0 support or HEVC HW decoding).
Oscam downloads: Oscam

Thank you Sir
I shall try this and report to you about the performance
Did you get it working I have also tried 5 different oscam on this box but still no luck
Sorry my friends. My fault. I thought the Octagon 4008 and 8008 were using the same chipset and CPU. Unfortunately this is not true. I fixed my POST #6 above, you can read it again :). Sorry.
Detailed CPU info should be displayed by the command: cat /proc/cpuinfo
Or info about device hardware (chipset architecture): uname -m
If the IPK installers don't work, you can try the manual installation I mentioned recently in this thread: Working Oscam emu 11517 all Boxes
Try this version Oscam
The patch allows NDS stations (currently only Sky SATs) to potentially overwrite the new 64bit CWs and optionally also throw them.
Please note the following:
- The function is enabled only with "disablecrccws_only_for" and only in oscam.server in the config config.
- you can be sure that with the dropbadcws = 1 in the reader configuration, a potentially incorrect CW is discarded, otherwise there is only one log message and no action is taken
- Bad CW detection basically works with "only" 99.998% accuracy and so can theoretically provide a scam
- Otherwise, the behavior continues to use a 48bit CW to a deception, as in the case of existing baggage, except for the arrival of transmitters
- An incorrect message associated with ır dropbadcws = 1 veya causes the freeze to freeze or the station remains dark at all times when it comes to 48bit CWs.
Channel groups that can make reservations on the NDS map and still use 48bit CW will be HD +, ORF, HD Austria and PYUR.

So does anyone know for sure if the oscam 11XXX arm_dream is compatible to Octagon SF8008 or only the oscam 11XXX arm_V7?
jojoz :
Please, test it :). Maybe yes. Maybe no. I dont know :). Download the binary file into "/usr/bin" folder, set the attributes "chmod +x /usr/bin/<file-name>" and try to start the binary, directly from the Shell "/usr/bin/<file-name>".
According to the chipset or processor found in SF 8008 - ARM v8 (Cortex-A53), there is backward compatibility with binary code from ARM v7.
The question is whether the compatible code for ARM v8 will be sufficient. If there is other linux kernel or other system modules or HW drivers (which may be developed for ARM v8 only and only), then softcam may not work properly. It is also questionable how much v7 and v8 are compabitile.
https://developer.arm.com/ip-p…ssors/cortex-a/cortex-a53
QuoteThe Cortex-A53 can be implemented in two execution states: AArch32 and AArch64 .
The AArch64 state gives the Cortex-A53 its ability to execute 64-bit applications, while the AArch32 state allows the processor to execute existing Armv7-A applications.
Thank you for your reply.
So, if your SF 8008 (Enigma and Linux) is running in AArch64 mode, you need an Oscam binary for the "aarch64" architecture, such as the Osmino4K set-top box.
However, if your SF 8008 (Enigma and Linux) runs in AArch32 mode, then any Oscam binary for ARM v7 should work - architectures like "armv7ahf", "armv7ahf-neon", "cortexa15hf-neon-vfpv4", etc. .
However, you probably need an ARM v7 binary. Ideal one that will work well on this new Cortex-A53 CPU.
do you need to ftp a softcam.key file to the SF8008 also?
Yes.
Dear ffjoao
Can you help me ?
I have the same device octagon sf8008 and I have a problem in finding an oscam to run .
Can you please tell me about openatv version you use with oscam ?
Thanks
