How to Watch PowerVu Channels on Enigma2 with Oscam Emu

your oscam binaries do not have the ecm fix
so you will get glitches on powervu channels

complie again

change this

for(i=12; i+1 < 12+program_info_length; i+=descriptor_length)

to this

for(i=12; i+1 < 12+program_info_length; i+=descriptor_length+2)

this is already done
and glitch free

It works on some - depends on drivers and image and the cpu has to be fast enough. You can try it and let us know. :)

How do I install the ipk file? As an image or with filezilla? If with filezilla, what folder will I find enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam-emu? Where do I find the bin file? Sorry for all the questions but I'm quite a novice at this.

look at this tutorial by MasterG could be helpful >> Guide for enigma2 ipk files installation

then ftp into your dm800HD with any ftp client like DCC or filezilla as explained in the tut
and ftp to usr/bin and change the oscam there, make sure to change permission to 755....b4 that remame the old oscam to oscam1 and add the new bin file
so you can revert if all did not go well

I managed to get the ipk file installed but when I get into usr/bin I don't see any options to change the permission or to rename the oscam.

open atv and open pli images but not ok

Is there a certain folder in usr/bin that I need to send the file to? Are keys already uploaded in this file or do I need to do that. When I hit the blue button it tells me that I have 2 cams installed- common interface and Oscam-EMU svn 10896. However it isn't opening any pv channels for me.

you need to put the keys manually bud
replace the softcam.key file in etc\tuxbox\config\ with your edited one

Did you read the first post and attached pdf carefully?? There is complete instructions. If you have a problem, you need to post which steps you did and exactly what is not working. PowerVu channels do not just "open" like other emu channels...
