Depends on the image in use and exactly how your EPG is setup. CrossEPG just downloads the EPG data, the image then displays it.

The Default ViX EPG is far superior and is developed specifically for the ViX image at a core level, Cool is not.

CrossEPG is just the plugin that downloads the EPG data it is needed by the image so dont remove it or you will break the image. by ViX EPG i am refering to the Graphical EPG screens and the other various EPG screens within ViX that we have spent tens of hundreds of hours developing over the last 4 plus years.

ABM was built and is maintained / updated by the ViX team, so yes it's built into ViX by default. as for button swapping there is a plugin built in but the coloured buttons are hard coded and the blue button links directly to the ViX sub menu, so it's something I would not recommend changing.

Personally I always go back to using the default ViX Night HD skin as it does every thing I want and need I am not a fan of s.ky uk themed skins, EPG wise ViX has no rival, no other team comes any where close to ViX in this area except maybe ATV who use our code for this.

ViX has its own original backup manager built in.

Blue button > ViX > backup manager = this creates a plugin and settings backup which can be restored back to a ViX image

Blue button > ViX > image manager = this allows you to create a full image backup as well as the ability to download images directly from the ViX server and flash them directly without a USB stick, also known as couch flashing.

For the single best EPG experience available on a Enigma2 receiver remove BH and flash ViX instead, the EPG on the BH image is pathetically bad.

Remember when loading bootlogos to the newer ViX images to send them to /etc/enigma2/ this way if you ever want to revert back to the default bootlogo you just need to delete this one and the receiver will default back to it's master bootlogo file.

Very simple, there has never been a bootloader update released for this receiver so there isn't one for you to load.

Personally I never had a issue with Vista in the two years I ran it but due to the total pile of **** that was windows 8, there is no way in hell i'm upgrading to window 10 free or otherwise. I'd rather just go whole hog with linux instead.

Also Nano you missed one Windows ME (millennium edition) which I also ran for a number of years and had no real problems with came between Windows 98 SE and XP.

I'd personally rather wait out a little longer for the TM Nano SE instead, the Zero and Solo SE look terrible and have very poor heat exchange due to their plastic design.

Quite easy, they will have a streaming box hooked up to a official receiver, something like a monsoon media Vulkano box or a slingbox, then stream that so they are not even touching the encryption just streaming.

Sorry buddy but your title is misleading, the ViX HD image line was discontinued with Apollo build 095, so this backup of build 126 can't possibly be of the HD line. I know it makes no real difference but it just the kind of little thing that irks me.

Why exactly are you trying to install dependencies for this ?, this plugin was built specifically for the ViX image which already has all the dependencies installed within the image.

The sad thing is they are very very good at making promises to potential customers, but like all true con-men once they have your money your pretty much stuffed, and god forbid you try to call them or ask for help on their so called forum.

For me the fact that they removed a bug reporting feature for their ViX clone image because and I quote "we received some bug reports" say all I need to know about their level of customer support.
