I have got it working, I can now access to openwebif using my external ip.
When I click on the stream, I'm getting an error:
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://79.xx.xx.xx:8001/1:0:19:718:C5A8:16E:A00000:0:0:0:?bitrate=1500000?width=720?height=576?vcodec=h265?aspectratio=2?interlaced=0'. Check the log for details.
How I can enable the stream?
have you tried http:// instead of https:// ?

Yes I have. I have tested with connected to the vpn and it wasnt worked so I had to do it all over again and now I have got the openvpn working.
The VPN ip show: 94.10x.xx.xx
I have added the open port forward in the router using NAT, so when I try to connect to the vpn with open port, example:
It say refused to connect, I have made some changes in the NAT as I have tried to use it with WAN interface such as WWAN, ADSL, VDSL and ETHWAN and I also tried to use the protocol type TCP and UDP sometime it said "take too long to response" and sometimes it said "refused to connect".
I have changed the WAN interface to default and I have changed the protocol type to t to TCP, it still saying "take too long to response"
I have also try to use my external ip: http://79.xx.xx.xx:9983/
It still say the same as it take too long to response. I have also set the firewall level to low, medium and high, still say the same.
Here is the NAT (Port forwarding) that I have set in the router:
WAN Interface: Default
The start port i use: 9983
The end port i use: 9983
The translation start port i use: 9983
The translation end port i use: 9983
Server IP Address: 192.168.1.202
Protocol: TCP

Hi all,
I need your help. I'm having a problem with connect to openwebif outside of my network as I am using vpn.
What I did is I have installed openvpn on my octagon sf8008 stb. I have created the openvpn directory in the etc folder and I have uploaded the .ovpn file in the 'etc/openvpn' folder. Then I changed the filename to client.conf. I have set the autostart and I have start the openvpn so the current status is running.
I have set the 'enable access from vpns' in the openwebif setting.
When I try to connect to openwebif: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9983, it said:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx refused to connect.
I don't really understand why it have refused to connect when I have set it up correctly.
How I can find out if my stb is connected to vpn server?
If my stb is connected to vpn, then I want to know how I can find out what the caused of the blocked?
I have already set the open port forward in the openwebif setting and in my stb via my router > nat:
sf8008 ETHWAN 192.168.1.202 9983 9983 9983 9983 TCP
The name of the router I am using is: VMG1312-B10D.
I have set the firewall level to low setting and it is still the same.
Do you know why it is refused to connect?

Yeah I will get the iptv if i cant find the solution but in the picture there is a clear sky you can see may get me a signal for 30 west but I am not really sure if it is going to work.
This is why I post this and ask for some help from expert who knows better than I do.
other than the brick wall being a massive issue..... don't forget the dish declines with the motor as it turns. So if you have good signal on your other sats leave it alone.

I need your help with getting 30 west channels.
I've setup my rig on dead straight with 3 dots, the dish elevation is 22.5 degree and the motor is set to 0 when I moved the whole rig to 0.8west. The maximum signals for aljazeera english on 0.8west I can get is 77%. I can get from 45 east to 0.8west with no problem, but I can't get 30 west channels because of the close building next to my house.
According to dishpointer.com, it say it will work if i adjust my dish to 24.4 degree.
I'm not sure if it is going to work because of the close building next to my house. I can see the clear sky, but I am not sure if it is going to work. It may requirement to adjust my dish to go greater than 24.4 degree to get portuguese channels.
Do you know if it will work or not??
no problem with any channels on 16e it is a strong satellite
It's strange but when I changed the longitude from 1.388 to 2.44 and I can now have sport klub 1 hd, but the s.n.r is 50%.
I have checking on Al jazeera English at 0.8w, the signals was 50% but now I got is 57% and the gospel channel is 57% as it was 69%.
It's sounds like to me the motor/dish elevation need to be adjust??
I note on your list 16east is missing could you try ARENA HD and Sportsclub hd and give a reading. No rush I am just curious.
The Arena HD s.n.r is 70% and sport klub HD 0% s.n.r

Yes I have accept that my sat is not installed correctly. According to the manual my dish elevation should be 22.6 degree. I have checked my motor latitude is 51 and motor elevation is 39 degree so both setup have been set up correctly.
So in the attached picture, it look like my dish elevation is 20 degree which is low?
Yes I have checked on the pole as it is not 100% straight as my pole is tilted. I'm going to change it to L mount sometime after Christmas.

Today is the best day I could do to work on my dish. I can't do it tomorrow or other day because it will be raining.
I have checked on the motor set as it is already set to zero. I have moved the dish to 0.8west.
Then I moved the dish to the west, it have improved 20% signals and I can't adjust it anymore because it will have no signals so I have moved it back and I got 50% signals which is good better than 47% signals.
Some channels got 60% signals and some got less like 50%. The gospel channel have 50% signals and the music channel have 50% signals.
Some channels have no signals so do I have to move the dish up or down until I get the signals?
I have checked the signals for 28.2east most got over 80% signals. When I select on eir sports it never worked for me so today it works. Can you get rte 1 and 2??
