Yes, thanks, I put in the 17.3 a few days ago and seems to be working fine. Works only with android 5. and above, will not work with any forks like cemc,spmc or others. 

Just seen the krypton 17.2 patch on official koditv site.

Just seen on the web kodi and vlc and a few other media players that there is a security problem with the subtitles. Kodi have put out a krypton 17.2 patch to fix. I t seems that 17.1 and older versions are vulnerable to possible hacks to subtitles that you download. Anyone else heard about it yet? I found it on tvaddons site [ admins block out that site if i'm breaking any rules,] Thanks

Hi all, as you know, wetek play will no longer update to 17.1 krypton. Jarvis 16.1 still good but with a lot of errors and broken depenancies so,there is a workaround that's working fine for me. It's not the kodi krypton 17.1, but it's close to it , as you will not get any errors . Wetek play is android 4.2.2 and I think wetek play 2 is android 4.4.4. I only have wetek play , will go with that, as android is earlier edition. I was searching for ages to find a solution and I think I have found it. Here we go, First of all, make a backup of your 16.1 kodi, [I don,t bother,I just reinstall jarvis 16.1 fresh] Now, DELETE Kodi 16.1 from Apps, reboot, then go to browser, and type in : http://toptutorials.co.uk/android/ and go to CEMC fork. You will see several forks but CEMC works for WEKEK PLAY. Then download and install. It may not come up on your kodi line but press apps, and you will find it there, click on it and it will load up. It'S exactly the same as 16.1 but now accepts the latest updates with no errors. Just put in your usual repos as normal. If I am not bending the rules, you will find more infomation on tvaddons.ag , {put in ONE242415,used to be on Phoenix but changed to tvaddons,] go to TECH,toptutorials and you will find the how-to for android 4. I know WETEK2 works on FTMC as well as It's AND,4.4.4 {same as my hybrid 4 quad!] I hope this will help ,and I must say if I can ,a big Thank You to toptutorials for all the info.Hope this helps,..cheers

I think it depends what you like and what sounds better with your own ears. The source from what you are getting the signal from,ie, internet or satellite and if in HD or SD have a lot to do with it too. I find generally the HDMI is fine for most, but I also have S/PDIF on aonther sat box [two sat boxes and two internet ones]which works well with moviies in HD pushing out 5.1. although you have to look and see if they are pushing 5.1 not regular stereo as most do.My AMP is a Yamaha av recieiver and pioneer speakers surround with sub wooferand loads of cimema settings to suit your taste. It,s what amp you have and speakers that makes the sound,the more expensive the better or what you can afford !

Just to let you know vdubt25 is working again [was down for about a week]with Sports updated. Some buffering on some but plenty of choice.Good football feeds including nbcsn .

This morning [Monday] on Wetek, they seem to be clearing out kodi, if you click on it you will get a warning message, to grant permissions, it warns you not to.You will only get a blank screen anyway,and may lock up,just switch off plug and all will restart on wetek. I would recommend to wait until they have finished what they are doing with the 'kodi' box. I'm sure it will change to whatever they have planned{mediacenter app?].

I put up a note on wetek play support earlier, just to say Kodi not working anymore on android as they put a note up saying mediacenter app is starting soon. Looks like they are catching up with the big E2 boys!

I just noticed this morning, on wetek play [android side] that there is a media center coming soon. on main page, the last box ,I had Kodi in and was working fine until last night. When I turned on the box this morning i went to Kodi but would not work and message underneath says "media center coming soon". Things are moving fast with wetek! On openelec everythng is fine.

I ordered mine from wetek [forum sponsor] last sunday evening,and tracked it all the way with tnt. Reiceived it wednesday morning in Dublin Ireland. That's the fastest service I think from placing an order to receiving the goods.Cannot fault it for service.:40_002:

Hi, I have the micro sd in and that brings up openelec, then how do I get back to wetek and my tvheadend 28e channels[dvb s tuner] without turning off box and taking out the microsd? I got the microsd preloaded from wetek. I'm sure there is a simplier way to change between kodi and tv channels.Any help will be greatful,as still trying to get to grips with it!

I'm using the amiko alien mini wirelees remote,works fine. I think it 's the same as master G s one [noontech], they look identical.

Thanks for download master G, pressed 'Thank you ' button and ' Like this' but doesn't seem to be working.

Also,this is just another idea to try, check to see your epg and what time have you set it to update. I have automatic update disabled and just update manually and never have a problem.
