    yes m8. Just had that thought so the autobouquets maker will overide any change that I make to standard bouquets. So how would I make a favourites list. I realise that the Alien is a totally different beast ( not in the same league ). , but the reason I mentioned it was because I had exactly the same situation, and that rec is not connected to the internet. it has been relegated to the kitchen but the lists still reverted back. Not really that important. just curious

    I am running ten below open vix backup and what a great backup it is. Yesterday I spent some time moving all channels round so that it was easy for the boss to use. Got it all set up but when I come to use it today they have all reverted back. I used the onscreen channel editor to do this. I wonder if this is generally a bug in Enigma because I had exactly the same situation in my Alien 2. I found this to be a bit clunky as well because I could only move 1 channel at a time. I will have a go at doing it through DB edit, but just wondered if I was doing something wrong. Love this receiver BTW

  • oscam problem

    Hi,
    just got myself a nice shiny VU Solo2 ans installed Vix image. Been trying to install Oscam and downloaded version 8852 and installed as per instructions, but could not get it to work. So I have installed a backup image from this site. Put server file in and bingo. But the version I installed seemed to be short of 2 files config and user. Although it is ok now was wondering where I went wrong, becuase when I unzipped the file there was only one component. Sure its something very silly like maybe just a corrupt file

  • epg problem

    Have just downloaded backup of PKT hyperion v2 but cannot get epg to work. Goes through download procedure and gets to 'parsing ' 13.53 of 13.53 (eg) and then just stops. try to force reload but nothing happens and no epg. Had it working fine on previous PKT image. HD is showing ok. Any ideas

    no your image was just 28e, but I have uploaded my catseye settings file via DB edit. I seem to thionk I had this prob before but cannot remember how I resolved it. In the meantime I can still not get epg to work, so will reflash with your new image and see what happens.Thanks for your help

  • Champions Hyperion v2 Complete Image

    just trying to get epg for 28east. It goes right through to parsing titles and then just seems to hang. Had it working ok on previous PKT image. Also I have loaded my channel lists and favourites. These are ok on 28east, but although showing on other sats are greyed out as if they are inactive. Any ideas

    thanks for this image. Have installed it and got it running nicely, but cannot get epg to work. Have run it through downloader and forced reload, but still got no epg. Also the Media player crashes receiver so can you tell me if it can be uninstalled

    which version of this is suitable for Alien 2. I have just installed V2 hyperion image and TS Media is version 2.9. Have tried downloading 3.9 via update panel and it says downloading and restarts but is still v2.9

    you were a great help to me on that site scooterbuk. I don't think the alien 2 is up to the job and they were promoting it as an enigma 2 capable receiver and now they are saying that they are not interested in that side of things and want to concentrate on Spark. Not a good way to treat customers

    On most images there will be some studdering, Im using pkt hyperion image, and there is studddering although it is not as bad.
    I would advice you to give spark a go and see what you think.


    If you have already updated to version 1.65 of spark you can update to 1.68 via online update

    I have tried 1 or 2 images. Didn't like satstation image. Seemed to be very slow and oscam didn't work very well for me. Have finally settled o PKT Hyperion image which is very stable and not prone to crashing. If you use it be careful what skin you use,.I found that it would not record with some skins. I am using Kerni which works well. Can be downloaded through plugins menu

    Hi M8 yes does have Oscam. I am using the ymod version which works very well. Kerni is a skin that you can download from the plugins menu. The image comes with several skins already installed, but some of them don't work with recording ( at least they didn't on mine ), but I do like this image. I have found it to be very stable with very few crashes

  • will I notice a big difference

    Have to say that now I have sorted out recording probs my Alien 2 seems to be very stable with PKT Hyperion image. Doesn't crash as much as last HDMU I tried, but a strange thing happened yesterday.I had been using oscam succesfully on Sunday and when I switched on on Monday all config files had gone and had to re install. Having said that I had been trying lots of different skins etc so maybe that ahd something to do with it
