How To Flash A VU+ ZERO Linux Enigma2 Satellite Receiver

Flashing the Receiver

1) Power off the receiver

2) Ensure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver while flashing.

3) Insert the USB stick containing the image files into one of the usb ports on the receiver, rear usb port is advised if possible.

4) Power the receiver on.

5) The WHITE L.E.D will quickly flash two or three times then start to fade in and out slowly.

6) Once completed the WHITE L.E.D will flash rapidly.

7) If in doubt leave the receiver for a full 10 minutes before powering down and removing the USB stick.

8) Power on the receiver, it should now boot into the new image.

The flashing process should take approximately two to four minutes to complete, while the receiver is flashed it is important that you DO NOT power the receiver down for any reason as this can cause serious and or permanent damage.

If the receiver bypasses the flash files on the USB stick and boots into check that the file structure is correct on the USB stick or try formatting the USB stick using the above mention HP Format tool or try and alternative USB stick.

  • This type is known and circulated with all people, but the owner of the device said that his device has a problem and does not accept the update. The man is looking for any other solution to clean the device from the errors that the device has been afflicted with, to make it accept the update.

  • hello, in the USB after you put the VuPlus file or folder... there will be a folder inside with other files which usually one is missing or it is made so as not to always restart the restore continuously the file is (noforce) going ' changed to (force) by doing this and saving it, then turn off the switch and turn it on again with power...the update will start and at the end you will see the white LED flashing continuously...it will stop with the flashing a little clearer.

  • This is true, logical, and must be taken seriously. I think it is effective. Thank you.

Then try to install this image (original Vu+)

    Code
    http://code.vuplus.com/download/boximages/30/vuzero/vuplus-image-vuzero-20230613151805_usb.zip
