Flashing a fresh Enigma2 image onto your VU+ Zero from a USB stick only takes a few minutes. Work through the steps below carefully and your receiver will boot straight into the new image.
Before you begin
- A USB stick containing the unpacked image files.
- No other USB devices connected to the receiver — remove them before you start.
Flashing the receiver
- Power off the receiver.
- Make sure no other USB devices are connected while flashing.
- Insert the USB stick with the image files into one of the receiver's USB ports — the rear port is recommended where possible.
- Power the receiver on.
- As the receiver powers up, the white LED flashes two or three times, then fades slowly in and out.
- Once flashing completes, the white LED flashes rapidly.
- If you're unsure, leave the receiver for a full 10 minutes before powering it down and removing the USB stick.
- Power the receiver on — it should now boot into the new image.
⚠️ Do not interrupt the flash. The process takes roughly two to four minutes. While the receiver is flashing, do not power it down for any reason — doing so can cause serious or even permanent damage.
Troubleshooting
If the receiver skips the flash files on the USB stick and boots into the existing image instead, check that the file structure on the stick is correct. If it still won't flash, reformat the stick with the HP USB Format tool, or try a different USB stick.

This type is known and circulated with all people, but the owner of the device said that his device has a problem and does not accept the update. The man is looking for any other solution to clean the device from the errors that the device has been afflicted with, to make it accept the update.

hello, in the USB after you put the VuPlus file or folder... there will be a folder inside with other files which usually one is missing or it is made so as not to always restart the restore continuously the file is (noforce) going ' changed to (force) by doing this and saving it, then turn off the switch and turn it on again with power...the update will start and at the end you will see the white LED flashing continuously...it will stop with the flashing a little clearer.

This is true, logical, and must be taken seriously. I think it is effective. Thank you.

How many times does the front LED flash when you turn it on?
If less than four try installing this:
Then try to install this image (original Vu+)
and if everything went well, you can install any image you like

try changing USB to flash, sometimes it doesn't recognize it

It's only loading the splash screen so only flashes 3 times. Will try this soon and let you know.
