How to Flash Zgemma Star H Series HD Linux Enigma2 Receivers

Flashing a fresh Enigma2 image onto your Zgemma Star H-series receiver is quick once you have the image ready on a FAT32 USB stick.

What you'll need

  • A USB stick formatted as FAT32.
  • A good Enigma2 image — for example from the PurE2 repository: PurE2 repository.

Flashing the receiver

  1. Unpack the image onto the FAT32 USB stick, safely eject it, and remove it from your PC.
  2. Insert the stick into the front USB port of your H-series box — behind the little flap-door that also hides the card slot.
  3. Press and hold the black Reset button, then press the white Power button on. Wait until you see FLSH on the LCD, then let go.

Alternative method: press and hold the white power button at the back of the box and keep holding it until FLSH appears on the LCD.

⚠️ Don't interrupt the flash. While the box is flashing, do not power it down — wait for it to finish, or you risk a corrupt image.
