Flashing a fresh Enigma2 image onto your Zgemma Star H-series receiver is quick once you have the image ready on a FAT32 USB stick.
What you'll need
- A USB stick formatted as FAT32.
- A good Enigma2 image — for example from the PurE2 repository: PurE2 repository.
Flashing the receiver
- Unpack the image onto the FAT32 USB stick, safely eject it, and remove it from your PC.
- Insert the stick into the front USB port of your H-series box — behind the little flap-door that also hides the card slot.
- Press and hold the black Reset button, then press the white Power button on. Wait until you see FLSH on the LCD, then let go.
Alternative method: press and hold the white power button at the back of the box and keep holding it until FLSH appears on the LCD.
⚠️ Don't interrupt the flash. While the box is flashing, do not power it down — wait for it to finish, or you risk a corrupt image.
