This guide walks through recovering a DreamTV Mini UltraHD from a USB drive or SD card using its recovery button.

⚠️ Important: this recovery process will reset your device — back up any personal data first, as it may be erased.

Prepare the storage

  1. Download the recovery file (ZIP) to your computer.
  2. Extract the entire contents of the ZIP directly to the root of your USB drive or SD card.
  3. Safely eject the storage device from your computer.

Run the recovery

  1. Make sure the decoder (set-top box) is completely powered off.
  2. Insert the prepared USB drive or SD card.
  3. Press and hold the recovery button on the device.
  4. While holding it, power the STB on.
  5. Once the update/recovery screen appears on your TV, release the recovery button.
  6. Do not interrupt power during the procedure — the device reboots automatically when it's finished.

  • it boot up well but the remote control is not responding any help why , the remote is not working

    If not working, check your provider if it's still online since providers/servers "disappear" sometimes.

  • Hoi guys, what is funny is that if I use the same url server in my z8 or xsarius Q8 or use a third-party app like iptv Smarters it works perfect, so I think something is wrong but with dreamtv ultra box, maybe I need some updates or how I can't figure it out, I really need you guys suggestions
