octagon sf8008 has support from nearly all the e2 teams

Just like jenseneverest said, Octagon SF8008 is solid, most major E2 developers support it and it supports multiboot, I own one and very happy with it. VU used to be good until like you said the company stopped their support and it is getting abandoned.

I heard that some developers abandon their work with Vu company because vu stopped responding to them for example open pli team. In general do you recommend Vu boxes regardless of price tag?
This is not true. PLI have disputed this rumour, Vu responded to them a few weeks ago.
