It's not about the size of cache it's about you cacheEX ing your local with someone who has the same local, I have 5 cacheEX users and it's working very well after messing with various settings and many hours over msn etc, it's a feature there and to be used keep at it you'll get there my cache at a weekend is hitting 47% cause everyone is watching football etc but more cacheEX users you have the more chance of getting hits

It works the same as normal cache and 2 people are on the same channel cacheEX LOOKS on other users servers for that once it finds one you get by cache3 0ms etc

Iv been monitoring and it seems to be when spiderbox users connect (not all of them) ive kicked one off , cause he kept moaning, one other has just got a vu box, i have a couple of others still using them though

its not the spider box, my mate has one and tbh he had issues it was a case of him updating to the latest image, mine seemed to coinside with a peer, i added them back on 1 by 1 every 30 mins then all of a sudden i added 1 back on and it started straight away again, disabled him was fine added rest on peers back on eventually and all was good tried over 2 days to re add the peer but just happened again and again so had to disable it completely shame really as we chatted on emails etc and was a good share

I reinstalled whole server and installed Ubuntu installed oscam drivers omnikey etc and had it a couple of times also couple people I know have had it but change debugging to all and when it's happening post the log so we can see what it's doing prior to it happening if it's still happening to you

Thanks I'll try that as have just got the BM750.nfi so I'll start from there when he gets back in, Iv never been beaten by a box and not about to ha ha, if all fails Iv told him post it to me as its easier for me to have the actual thing in front of me ;-p cant see owt over team viewer lol

Hi I'm after dumping my whole duo flash chip via serial, can this be done? As my mate has a clone duo same as me but has the red light only, I have helped him over team viewer and got it from the red light (standby) to starting but it will not take a flash (image) well it does but always sticks on starting no matter how far back we go with images and even one I posted stuck on starting

I am thinking if I can dump the whole chip and flash over to his box, as I have done this a lot before with modems cable boxes etc to recover them as a direct clone, if it's not possible via serial (think it should be) thou, if not what is the flash chip type and are there any jtag points on the board?? Without removing the chip? If the chip needs removing I can do that but need to know the chip type an if my USB jtag NT will be able to identify it and program it, as that's easier to remove than try and find jtag points on the board :-)

But serial will be 1st port of call

    Any advice appreciated

i always thought sticking image on usb and putting into usb port and boot the box off and on again it would flash over the image regardless??? but whats the issue?? does it get stuck on "starting" if so suggests to me its a clone and try a older vix image like 2.4-155

    Silly question
Is the dish meter circumference or just top to bottom also the bracket for motor will that fit to a scaffold pipe 48mm tube dimension

top to bottom on mine but mines slightly ***l shape well 105 and 97 width

the pole IF using t n k like i have in the picture the pole is the alimunum type 1 (lighter) than the steal type it was about £6 a mate got it me

the pole is a normal width scaffold pole what ever width they are, im not going to climb the ladders to measure it lol

im not to far from you about 15mile and i have just put up a 1m dish and motor from sponcer on here and i can swing round to 42e and get channels there fine cant go past 7w as obstructions are there

i just posted in another thread have a read of that thatll help you below this one

oh n blackpool for the prem next season!!!!!! :)

1st find the wall your mounting the dish on and what way its facing
2nd check there is not obsticles/obstructions in the way ie trees wall use dishpointer (google it) usals long and lat for your box ned to be entered
3rd once above is complete and happy mount the brackets and pole and make sure they are plum!! perfectly straight this is the most important part if this is not straight you will have big problems trying to line the dish and follow the arch, with the long and lat and the MANUAL from your motor set the dish and motor acording to your long lat
4th mount the dish and motor onto the pole point towards true south as best you can
5th using the box and remote drive the dish to 0.8 thor
6th back up the ladders with the signal meter or i used signal meter on my comp (google)
7th move the dish left and rite until you peak a signal these movements are very important very small
7th once peaked left and rite start moving the dish up and down very small movements until peaked signal best you can get
8th as you start to tighten the dish upwatch the signal if it drops a bit tweak the dish up and down tighten more always keeping a eye on it once fully tightened and signal is good go back to your box
9th drive the dish to say 28.2 if everything is correct in theory you should follow the arch :)

10th bare in mind its not that simple and you will no dout be up and down the ladders if you dont get it at firts keep trying as the key is little movements and patiance

this is what i did 2 weeks ago from never ever fitting a dish in my life and i have got it spot on, with the help from here, id say its not easy but it aint hard either patiance is a virtue

    the finnsihed article

I take it its an original vu box?? with being on the new image??

I found out a while ago when we 1st tried all this pal, that if you set to prefer proxi readers and set to send to all cards in loadballacing then my cache was 60-70% but the down side was i hammered my shares cards ecms was like 50k!! so had to stop it rite away, but my ecms was dead low as the cache dis most the work, maybe the high ecm for my shares was a loopback error or something, cause what ever ecm my shares had from one of there clients my cache grabbed it but i think there server was thinking i was requesting the ecm if that makes sense lol
