  • gigablue ultra ue jtag required

    as the post says i am looking for help jtagging the box, i had a issue with rebooting not letting me load new f/w so flashed bootloder with what may of been 800ue bootloader. so i now have red light only

    i have old xp lappy

    i have the cypress board.. all wired up

    braodband studio 3 working



    i can not seem to find anything for the bcm7362 after searching for a week.



    need the bcm7362.msi the xml and the config (which i presume would be a conf from original boot loader files? if so i have this )

  • Jtag Gigablue 800 and 800se - Guide by ItalySat

    hi master G, i've seen there is now a part you can buy for around £8 on amazon or ebay to jtag these boxes instead of having to solder parts, but do you know if this jtag would be the same on a gaigablue hd ultra ue or do you know of any other way to bring it back to life

    by nothing do you mean not flashing when on usb and placed in the box, if so it could be the usb you are using isn't compatible, i find using esus partition manager to format the usb drive and make a 1gb partition usually does the trick as the smaller the usb the better. some usb's work and some don't.

    I don't get what you mean by ticked? you need to open the zipped folder (with winzip or winrar) and you will see it says gigablue, just drag the whole folder to desktop and it will automatically unzip. this is the folder you need to put onto usb.

    i got a cable tuner for my 800se but it wouldnt work so sent it back, dunno if it was a problem with my box or with the part i received, easy to fit tho, how did you get on with fitting the dvb-t2 thing?

    if your in the same ip as your server then the cline for your stb would have the ip of the server, say server ip is 192.168.1.5


    then C: 192.168.1.5 12000 test1 pass1


    just change the ip to point the stb to your server


    I use nlines from my oscam to my shares so cant tel you much about setting up the clines. i think it's more or less the same though. My user account looks like


    [account]
    user = gigablue
    pwd = nottellinu
    caid = your cards caid like 100
    au = matches your readers name
    group = 1
    ident = caid/indent here for your card,


    you will need to look it up in the oscam settings on the forum page, theres plenty of great tutorials on there which i found easy enough to follow

  • Gigablue 800 se - for cable use?

    Sorry to bother u again lads, i just plugged in one of these cable things and cannot seem to find it, tried software update, puggins, addons, mount devices, service searching but it doesn't show at all, do i need to re-install the vix f/w from scratch so it will find it or am i missing something real easy lol

    Cheers Delboy13 Will have a look into it more so now then, reason being i just moved into a flat (temp hopefully lol) and the only feeds i can find are sat and cable as i have internet from virmin, but communal dishes are crap and least bit of rain the sat packs up and i can't even get free to air, i still have all my shares so can't use original box as i will look at getting motorised dish back up and running once i move again.. the other option was to plug in a seperate cable box and hopefully get some sort of channels showing so if the sat goes off i can still watch tv instead of only on demand stuff and movies through ts media. Price of a duo box was over 100 and the plug in part to turn giga into cable was 20 - 40 quid, so im all for the cheaper option lol.

  • Gigablue 800 se - for cable use?

    Hi, is the gigablue 800 se capable of turning into a twin tuner? like sat & dvb-c ? i found this on amazon /GigaBlue-Giga-DVB-C-Hybrid-Tuner/dp/B007OTLLJO (best not post full link or i may be breaking rules) for 36 quid and was thinking of having a play about.. would it be a simple plug and play or would i need drivers and a completely different firmware on it, i currently use openvix.


    any thoughts appreciated and thanks in advance

    It will remove the channel list you have on now and place new updated ones back on. All the channels are on there that are on 28.2e and options to scan other sats as they are now included but not selected.

    Google this and it will fetch up a regularly updated one with aisian list as favs.

  • Which cccam version do you use and why?

    In my pc use 2.1.3 as i need it to reed my card from omnikey card reader in oscam and it is the only one that will show it as my local using the 256 trick, all others show at hop 10.


    before the pc, i used cccam only in my stb i tried 2.1.3 2.1.4 2.2.1 & 2.3.0, i found they all worked fine and did the job but in 2.1.3. as i added more and more shares i found if i got alot of bad ecm request from shares of shares my cccam would reboot every few hours. I put it down to the box (gigablue 800hd) and had an old pc doing nowt so decided to follow some excellent tuts on this site to build a debian server.

    Hi, i was wondering how many emm's is normal to receive in oscam,


    Last night i added box nation to my card (0963) Active came on straight away and entitlemants updated (not all entiltlements) and box nation cleared and showed it was from my card..
    The problem now is since then the active keeps coming back on and i have received 17 emm's in say 14hrs.


    I have 13 entitlements saying 28-10-2013 and others saying 11-10-2013

    Omnikey card reader


    oscam version is #7864


    Updates using nline in oscam to cccam in my box


    Getting a little worried as it is the 1st time i have tried adding owt to my card; so i maybe panicking over nothing.
